There now, see how easy that was?  Smiley

We have the Fantasy Government Board!  YEAH!!!

Now we just need to get all the threads of senate bills moved over to that board.  Um, Gustaf, could you be so kind?  Cheesy

What is the difference between the Secretary of Forum Affairs and the Game Moderator?

The Forum Affairs Secretary needs to keep track of people who register and decide whether or not they have met the constitutional requirements to become a registered voter at the forum.

It was once a tradition, that the Secretary of Forum Affairs conduct elections by putting up the OFFICIAL post. That tradition has long since been abandoned since I left my office as Secretary of Forum Affairs.

Fritz: Candidate registration is over in the MW, correct?

If so, will Reaganfan still be on the ballot, despite the fact he's not a Midwestern resident?

If you recall, Governor, I offered to put the Governor elections on the same ballot as the Senator elections.  You turned me down, because of resolutions you also wanted on the ballot.  I am not going to be administering the Governor elections.  I assume you will be in charge of that for your region.

Check your region constitution for candidate filing deadlines, I don't think there is one.

The lists of registered voters, on the second and third posts of this thread, have been updated.

Members who previously had an asterisk by their name, and did not vote in the last election, were removed from the lists.

I have put new asterisks by member names, indicating who will be eliminated if they do not vote in October.

I was a little more ruthless with the asterisks this time.  Basically everyone who did not vote in the last election has been given an asterisk, unless:

1. The member voted in one of the special elections held in July, or

2. The member registered to vote in July or August (which is being somewhat liberal with this, but I had to put the cut-off somewhere), or

3. The member was an official candidate for office in the last election (I think this qualifies as participating in the election, even if they failed to vote).

Fritz, would it be possible to provide me with a list of those who now hold an asterisk along with those who previously held one and were deleted?

Does Harry v. M (or would it be Harry v. Nation?) (that is, the decision that mandated that undeclared write-ins cannot get elected) apply to regional elections?

Ah, I understand.  Yes, based on federalist principles, I would say that any Supreme Court rulings apply to the regions.  Especially since none of the regions have courts of their own.
