I didn't believe that when I first heard of it and then I saw it on YouTube - beats the 'Ascent of Tory man' from last year. He's not as good as Peter Snow who always sounded like an excited puppy about to wet itself, but he's getting there!

Or someone adding an "e" to the end of "ming" for a crude detraction.. I could see Dennis Skinner getting sent out of the commons for doing that..

I have to say that having now seen the local election graphics I'm sort of 50/50 on Mr. Vine as an election presenter.

Yes, I like the new graphics explaining things, for instance:
The House that David built (to show Conservative progress over time)
Blair's tennis match (to show Labour progress over time)
and of course Ming's Bling

but I do hope that they replace the lights with actual maps (unless of course they are trying to show a Labour majority with such blue areas now in the South of England)
