Guess not then. I don't think you picked the right profession for that.  Unless of course you start a chain.  Smiley

Well, it depends. Not hard to be "upper middle class" with my profession, and many define that as rich. And it would be enough for a comfortable life on the coasts. Definitely hard to be rich though.

Though you can see from the GasBuddy chart that it's mostly in the upper $3.40's/low $3.50's around me, I was pleasantly surprised to be able to fill up in Pekin, IL on Thursday for $3.19.

Filled up my (Diesel) car yesterday and gas prices have become cheaper in the last few weeks:

I paid 1.25€/liter, which is ca. 6.13$/gallon.

Down from 6.80$ a few weeks ago.

Prices here are definitely higher than in Tender's area, which is no surprise given that everything's more expensive here Tongue
It has been long since I saw a station with less than 1.39€, but it goes up until 1.49€ per litre on good/bad days (depending on one's POV)
That's about 7.00$ - 7.50$ per gallon
That's diesel, gasoline is about as expensive, maybe 10c more...

I see gas in Europe is far more expensive than in the states Tongue

Yes, the Avanti in Rum seems to be the cheapest around you, with 1.29 (which is still 5 cents more than the Maxi-Tank here in Bruck).

Basically no gas stations in the Western part of Tyrol is among the cheapest, only those in the Kitzbühel and Kufstein districts.

About 1.30 CAD per litre. Not as bad as Europe but not nearly as good as the USA.

Around $1.50 per litre, so would be about $5.80 per gallon.

So not as bad as Europe, but still quite a bit more expensive than America.
