I've literally never known a gas price in my life because I get transported around by volunteer vegans who poop rainbow fertilizer for organic farming cooperatives!

The diesel cost 1.04€ per liter in the morning @ the MaxiTank gas station where I frequently fill up (it's one of the cheapest stations in the state).

That's ca. 4.82$ for the gallon.

It's also the lowest diesel price here since 2009/10. I remember that the price then was as low as 0.92€ per liter.

All the competitively priced gas stations in my area are at $2.29 today - they were all at $2.39 yesterday.

Via extrapolation I therefore project that on New Years Day the price of gasoline will fall below $1 per gallon

I drove across country to MA this week, and I just paid $2.63 in MA today. On Tue in IL I paid $2.47, but the best in between was OH at $2.13 on Wed. The worst was $3.07 in NY along the Thruway.
