I'm surprised an Election Day game thread hasn't been created. Anyway, I'd like to know what's the best anybody's done in Election Day. Personally, I usually play as Nader in the game. I've won a few elections thanks to the Electoral College but I've been able to win in a landslide twice. My last win was like this:

Nader (me)- 322
Bush- 153
Gore- 63

This one was my first landslide win.

Nader (me)- 456
Bush- 79
Gore- 3

This one was one of my first runs and it was a fun one. The cool thing was I came from behind and got this.

Nader (me)- 195
Gore- 179
Bush- 164

You can post any results. Boy I love this game (although I haven't tried President Forever yet). Smiley

I've just now tried to register in order to download, but it's not working.

But you were able to at least register? I downloaded the game from this website. OK, try this: once you register, download the 3.0.2 file to your computer. I don't know how to download the other files but focus on getting the 3.0.2 version of the game. This should help. Smiley

Is this game free or is it going to cost me an arm and a leg?

It looks like a free university project software.

The afternoon paper in my hometown used to have a prediction contest in Presidential elections.

I was one of those to get every state correct in 1972 (including D.C.).

The cheap &@$+@^#$ at Gannet bought out the paper and ended the contest.
