I recently read Failed States by Noam Chomsky and I must say he is a good writer and that I do enjoy reading books by people with highly diffrent views then me, However Mr. Chomsky is out to lunch with all the stuff he puts in his books!

huge understatement.  Pure nutjob.  Leftist of the Larouche mold (the cold war never existed)

However, had a few contributions to cognitive psychology-that discredited behavioralism.  I recommend reading about that stuff rather than his political veiws.
