I see your point on the abortion issue... as a catholic (a very moderate one it has to be said) I’ve got a lot of sympathy with your position…I supported the ban on partial birth abortion however I don’t believe that abortion should be generally legislated against however in my view it must be regulated very strictly… ultimately it is the “women’s right to chose” however we can only cut back the number of unwanted pregnancies and therefore abortions by a sensible and mature approach to sex education and planed parenthood which should be promoted in my view…interestingly I’m really in favour of an individuals right to end their life if they are seriously ill or facing a painful or degrading death because it is then their decision where as with abortion the child obviously has no say and you are in effect denying a human being life… but enough of this off topic subject…
