In 1992, New Jersey Senator, Bill Bradley decides to run for the 1992 Democratic nomination. Not a surprise anyone, Senator Bradley wins the New Hampshire primary and thus continues his momentium and wins the 1992 Democratic nomination. For Vice President, Senator Bradley selects House Minority Leader, Dick Gephardt of Missouri.
Despite being challenged by Pat Buchanan, incumbent President George H.W. Bush wins the 1992 GOP nomination. With growing calls to dump Vice President Dan Quayle, President Bush decides to and selects Senator John McCain of Arizona to be his running mate.
Ross Perot decides to run as an Independent in the race and selects Vice Admiral James Stockdale of Illinois.
How does this race turn out?
Discuss with maps.
Just a reminder the tickets are:
George H.W. Bush/John S. McCain III (R) William W. Bradley/Richard Gephart (D) H. Ross Perot/James Stockdale (I)
