Abortion:

I support the law as established through Roe v. Wade

Iraq:

Based on lies, and a complete waste of lives, money and resources.

Tax Cuts:

Bush's are wrong. Too skewed to the rich. The highest classes should have the rate raised to far beyond pre-Bush levels. In addition the estate tax should be reinstated.

Gun Control:

I think current federal laws are sufficient, and for the most part share Howard Dean's position.

Educations:

Increase funding into public schools, no vouchers.

Religion:

I favor complete seperation of church and state. I don't really care either way about the "Under God" in the pledge because I think reciting the pledge every day itself is a sign of a much bigger problem than any words in it, but if you had to make me choose, I'd say take the, out.

Homeland Security:

In need of serious reforms

Other Civil Liberties:

Repeal the Patriot Act. Base AA on class, not race. End Don't Ask, Don't Tell and allow open gays to serve.

Gay Marriage:

I'm in favor of equality for homosexual and heterosexual couples, but I think it would be best to leave "marriage" soely to the religious institutions and give civil unions to everyone.

Death Penalty:

Oppose, I would support abolishment.

I'm glad to see so many others here who hate private schools. Yes, they should either be outlawed, or crippled.

For the life of me I can't figure out why some people would want to end private schools.

Because so many private schools suck.

and most have uniforms.

Private schools suck and the kid hate 'em

I don't and many others don't. Plenty of private school kids would stay where they are instead of going to a public school. AND many public school students would love to switch schools.

In a brief sentence or so state your positions on the big issues of the day as below.

Abortion:

I feel that it should be legal in the first trimester only.  Personally, I believe it is wrong and we should work to reduce the number the number of abortions.  I support banning second and third trimester abortions.

Iraq:

I dont like the Iraq war but feel we have to do a gradual pullout and not an immediate one.

Tax Cuts:

No mored tax cuts till the deficit is gone.

Gun Control:

There are certain types of guns that should not be legal.  I favor less gun control than more.

Education:

I support public education and believe we should fund it appropriately to make sure we have the best and brightest students possible.

Religion:

I have a mixed opinion.  Its not the most important issue to me.

Homeland Security:

Support the patriot act.

Other Civil Liberties:

Gay Marriage:

I support Civil Unions and I wouldnt have a problem with Gay marriage being legalized

Death Penalty:

Support the death penalty for the most serious crimes.
