Has Harold Ford made his intentions for the '08 Senate election clear? Will he be challenging Lamar Alexander?

I think he said that a second senate run is likely.

He hasn't made any moves so far yet.  However, he reportedly told a group of students he would be challenging Alexander.  There is also the fact that his FOX News contract contains a clause allowing to leave to run for the Senate in 2008.  I think Ford would be better off running for Governor in 2010, although he may end up facing Bill Frist.
