Citizen Marriage Bill

1. Anyone who applies for a marriage license inside the boundaries of Atlasia must be a citizen of the Atlasia
2. Marriages between non-citizens will remain valid
3. Penalties will be regulated by the state government for anyone who marries an illegal, vacationer, resident alien, or other non-citizen

Seconded.

The current legislation on the marriage in Atlasia is fine and I have no intention of seeking change to it. It is clear that the author of this proposal did not consider said legislation in drafting this measure. I would strongly advise he do so if he has any further suggestions on this issue.

I completely agree and support the motion to table.

And is the second bill in the past few days to forget that Atlasia abolished the term marriage a while back.

I concur with the Senators motions to table.

Withdrawn, however, I think the point of this bill was missed which was to prevent people from getting paid to marry people so they can become citizens

...which, in Atlasia, they can't.
