He's an idiot.

He has written letters to the Guardian and put down Early Day Motions in support of the Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez - a perfect example of the kind of juvenile protest politics that some people in the Labour party are still unaccountably addicted to. We should be the natural party of government but some of our number still think its 1987 and that we should be struggling against Yankee imperialism.
