...that voted for the other party's presidential nominee in 2004?

In NC, I'll say Wake.

Edit for 2008 (post-2008 members use 2008), New Hanover.

Edit for 2012 (post-2012 members use 2012), I'll stay with New Hanover.

Since I voted for Kerry, I have 77 of 77 counties to choose from in the great state of Oklahoma.  So, I would say Cherokee County in east-central Oklahoma (county seat is Tahlequah), especially the town of Gore, Oklahoma and Lake Tenkiller.  It is an extremely pretty part of the state and, IMO, one of the best lakes in the state of Oklahoma.

If you're talking about the "other" candidate being the loser of the state, then I'm outta luck Sad.  That ain't gonna happen in 2008, I can guarantee that.  Hopefully, though, I won't be voting in Oklahoma in 2008.

Well, since I voted for Michael Peroutka, anyone is an "other" candidate. I live & grew-up in Jefferson County, so; I will say Jefferson County is my favorite.

FYI
Jefferson County has voted for the Republican Presidential candidate in every election from 1960-present, except 1968 - (George Wallace)
Could not find county results before 1960 (no maps on the Atlas)

I'll go with Knox since it is the most urban Bush county in Tennessee. Still definately wouldn't want to live there.

Tough but I'd have to go with Passaic, meaning the parts that include Wayne and that area not Passaic itself or Paterson

Can't pick, I like a lot of Southeastern Wisconsin but there's a lot of nice counties in the north as well.

Newberry.  A South Carolina county that traces its roots to immigrant German Lutherans is a sure way to shake up people's perceptions and prejudices.

Paterson is junk.  So is Passaic, and Wayne, and most of the county...

Somerset is by far the best county in New Jersey.

Yeah, there's definitely no contest.

For a Bush County in New Jersey, I prefer Hunterdon (Somerset being a close second); for a Kerry County in New Jersey, I prefer Mercer; possibly Hudson.

In Massachusetts, I'd love to live on the North Shore in Essex County.  Nantucket is great too, but I could never live there.  [The Kerry/Bush thing doesn't really factor in, since Bush was shut out, as was noted previously.]
