as an example of how PR leads to constantly changing overnments. Could I counter that opponents of First Past the Post could point to Canada as an example of a country which uses first past the post and as a result now has an unstable government as I understand that the NDP on Friday and then the Liberals next month intend to try and bring the Conservatives down.
Whatever about Italy or anywhere else, I'd imagine that opponents of PR in Britain will now point to the 2 BNP MEPs as a reason to stick with plurality voting.
