...well, not really. An artist group hacked into the morning weather report on a Czech TV station to appear as if the camera recorded a nuclear blast live on air. It apparently is a protest referring to plans to install radar stations in the country. It's hilarious though.

Dibble is amused, and that is good.

That was quite possibly the worst bomb ever, too.  I mean, it didn't even generate a slight gust of wind, as far as I can tell.

The Czech Republic is part of a former communist country, don't forget.  That bomb would probably have 'expired' in 1958.

The wind could have been when the camera begins to go out.  Also it was fairly distant, you would get a lapse between the flash, cloud, and wind.

I'm more looking at the fact that everything around the blast is entirely and utterly untouched.

That's because the bomb sucks, not blows.  Sheesh!  Tongue

They did a good job of splicing that in there, keeping it clean even though the camera is constantly panning back and forth.

i liked that there was no shock wave that emanated from the "blast," it gave a real sense of legitimacy

Yeah, I thought it was cheesy too.

It would have been awesome if they used a photon torpedo blast. Grin
