I'm sure some blue, green, and possibly even red avatars will be along shortly to point out the context has been edited out of the clip.
context only matters for people you support.  If it's someone you don't like, context is just pedantry.

It matters for someone who deserves the benefit of the doubt.

I'm pretty sure various terrible things have occurred due to something being taken out of or not view in context.

The background says Black Conservative Federation. Sounds like he's just making an argument he's made before: that he did he better job for black Americans than Obama did. The person who tweeted this must have just thought it sounded funnier divorced from context.

"iT dEpEnDs UpOn ThE cOnTeXt"

Let me try to make this even simpler for you: the person who tweeted this video removed the context but i was able to piece together a likely explanation of what is going on here.
Do you have some kind of problem with that?  Or do you have some other account of what this video means that you'd like to share?

Do you have the actual context or just what you assumed

Seems important to me >.>

Ok fine there could be extreme scenarios where you should bend over backwards to decipher the inner workings of someone's mind. But we're not not diplomats or military planners. We're informally discussing whether this dude said something racist.

Trump does horrible things all of the time. There’s no sense in taking an innocent remark (when the context is added) and blowing it out of proportion.

I'm trying to figure out how this is an innocent remark. In what context was it necessary for him to reference race? He is a racist and it's time that you accepted it. The gaslighting needs to stop.

How about this context: a few days ago Trump said that illegal immigrants weren't even people.  Trump supporters twist themselves into knots trying to justify (or maybe I should say translate into English) every hateful and/or bizarre utterance.

That doesn't provide any context for this video. It has zero to do with it. There is no way you actually think that it does. If I wanted to comment on some other thread about something else Trump said I would have. If you like to believe that everything Trump ever says is somehow both completely random and undecipherable and completely hateful at the same time, go ahead, but don't pester everyone else who doesn't play along.

An argument he's made before doesn't provide context for the video either.

Oh, I fully accept that. Donald Trump is easily the worst human being to ever ascend to the US presidency.

This guy has dementia clearly, he is too old to be President and he's selfishly hurting Republicans by not dropping out.

He could be pandering to the conspiracy that Obama is the shadow president, although this doesn't make sense as Biden and Obama are quite different on certain issues. Either that or he assumes that Biden is going to drop out at some point so he's treating it like he's running against Harris.

He's been saying for months that Obama is the shadow President. So this is more of that. Trump has had an obsession with Obama since 2011, and I truly think he genuinely believes that Obama is pulling the strings and using Biden to "persecute" him.
