of the Republicans I know none of them have a positive opinion of Hamas and a couple of them have a reasonable view of Joe Biden (he's generally wrong on his politics, but he's not evil, just an old union stronk Democrat from the east coast), so my vote goes to Sleepy Joe.

The reverse question is more interesting IMHO, do Dems have a higher opinion of Hamas or Trump, because clearly there are some Dems who, sadly, do have a high opinion of Hamas and few do of Trump.

Definitely Biden. There are some centrist Lincoln Project type Republicans who like Biden. The only Republicans who would support Hamas would have to be extremely far right and anti-semitic types (Nick Fuentes is the only possible example that comes to mind. I'm not even sure if he supports Hamas, though he is certainly anti-Israel and pro-Palestine). The later group is incredibly fringe, so Biden wins here. Remember that the mainstream MAGA movement is quite pro-Israel.

Hamas because their October 7 attack did a lot to weaken Biden for awhile.

That weakened Biden among leftists, not among Republicans. Any Republican that was so far right they supported Hamas would have never supported Biden in the first place.

Depends where you ask this question:
4chan: Hamas
TwitterX: Biden
Atlas: Biden
Real world: Biden

I suppose some republicans kind of like Biden as a person but don't like his politics.

It weakened him in the polls overall.

Honestly, pretty decent toss-up between the Lincoln Project types and the Groypers.

Sounds accurate.

What I'm unsure about is whether they would indeed favor Putin over Biden.

If given a poll, I assume it would look something like mid 90's for Biden and mid single-digits Hamas, maybe high single-digits at best. The Republicans who would favor Hamas seem to be overrepresented online and skew towards lower levels of political engagement compared to the average Republican. Someone like Nick Fuentes is an obvious outlier in that regard. A better question would be if they favor Biden or Putin more, but even then I don't see it climbing higher than in the 30's at the most.

Well Nick Fuentes does not support Hamas, at least going by what he said in this Twitter exchange with Jackson Hinkle. Also, congrats to Jackson Hinkle for somehow making Nick Fuentes look more reasonable than him lmao
