I can't wait to see what Sununu does on the campaign trail though. I'd probably put money on him being a better candidate than Santorum.

I read this fast and thought Cindy Sheehan was beating Sununu

If SHaheen is beating him by 28% I'd say Sheehan would beat him narrowly.

Wish SUSA continued their 50 state polling.   His approvals must be brutal

As out of line as Sununu may now be with New Hampshire, to equate him with Rick Santorum is at least foolish, if not unfair.

Sununu isn't as insane or conservative as Santorum, but he fits his state as a whole about as well as Santorum fit PA and SEPA in particular.

In any case, it's time to find the next Republican to Santorumize. I nominate the pro-war anti-stem cell research phone jammer from New Hampshire, John Sununu.

Mission accomplished Smiley

What a disaster. Sununu is a fine Senator, too. He doesn't deserve this.

I was gonna say...what the hell did he do that makes him so defeatable?

he is a pro Iraq War anti- embryonic stem cell research socially conservative Republican in a very anti war socially liberal heavily Dem trending state.  he votes against the wishes of the people he represents.

I do hope Schumer gets Shaheen to run. We would be able to spend our money elsewhere such as LA, NC, MN, VA....

Obviously Naso, he acts as a Republican.  New Hampshirites don't like that.

Of course we do, Gabu.  It means a right-wing Republican senator in the Northeast defeated by a combination of ideological change in his state, and exposure of his extremism.

Oh for God's sake!  What is wrong with people up there?

Sununu will close, obviously, but I still think NH and VA are the two Democratic pickups.

Probably the same thing that must be wrong with the people over there in Colorado, since I think CO and NH are my first two Democratic pick-ups.

Oh for God's sake!  What is wrong with people up there?

The same thing that's "wrong" with most of America and the northeast in particular. We don't want right-wing, conservative Republicans representing us.

NH is a moderate-to-liberal state that believes in things like science, personal freedoms, and economic fairness. Sununu goes directly against the vast majority of NH voters on most major issues.

Why would we want to re-elect him again?

Colorado is waaaay different than New Hampshire.  If you're putting all your eggs into the Colorado basket go ahead and grab yourself a towel.
