Mixed.  I can see why the newly Libertarian BRTD would oppose this though.

Huh Socialism wasn't the word that came to my mind.

Isn't a Libertarian who supports universal health care basically an oxymoron?

I oppose them because of this:

Pay very close attention at whose allied on that last one.

Horrible People. Yes, it's wrong to advertise tobacco or beer to kids. But besides that, the government should leave businesses alone. If consumers are gullible enough to buy things based on product placement or ads, that's their problem.

More like Horrible Fighters, if they think that their knee-jerk anti-advertising campaign will have any real effect.

"Alcohol is a major cause of death among teenagers. It contributes significantly to motor vehicle crashes, other injuries, suicide, date rape, and family, school and other problems.

We don't think the beer and liquor industry should encourage teenagers to drink alcohol. Do you?"

What's wrong with that?

Check out the articles. They want stricter limits on alcohol ads and seem to even have a problem marketing alcohol to people who can legally drink: http://www.commercialalert.org/issues/culture/alcohol/this-web-tv-is-for-you-especially-if-youre-a-male-aged-21-to-34
They also appear to want to ban these good drinks, I don't care if they're "girly drinks", I like them: http://www.commercialalert.org/issues/culture/alcohol/alcopops-cute-boozy-and-pitched-to-teenage-girls

Yes, and I also think that while I may not agree with them on all their stances it is good to have debate on the topics they raise, their voice is healthy for the country.
