Say that Bush is assainated in September as the film "Death of a President," predicts that he will be. How would the presidency of Cheney end up? Would he run in 2008, if so would he win because of the sympathy vote making the difference for him? Basically, what would happen in a Cheney presidency?

The army does a coup. A few million conservatives find relocation to South Africa, Australia or Chile enjoyable whiel a few tens of millions of social conservatives stay out of politics, keep their heads down and mutter over coffee.
