“Americans should refer to the Republican hopefuls as ‘Doctor No, the Three Musketeers and the Seven Dwarfs’."

I agree since he was being supportive of Ron Paul when he called him Doctor No.

Any article that unironically quotes James Dobson as a source is not something I agree with.

But I don't really "get" the quote.

I'm amused that they described ignoring Ron Paul as "calculated."  No, really?

The majority of it, I agree with. However, I'm not a big fan of that fundamentalist stuff they put in.

I'm not asking if you agree with the CP on ANYTHING other than ‘Doctor No, the Three Musketeers and the Seven Dwarfs’

As for further explanation on the quote - “Congressman Ron Paul, dubbed ‘Doctor No’ (for consistently voting against un-constitutional programs, higher taxes and big-government spending) is the only clear choice and he’s been taking a drubbing by GOP leadership.
The Three Musketeers, Tancredo, Hunter and Gilmore have solid positions on some issues but none make the ‘constitutionally-correct’ grade”, noted Clymer.

Giuliani, McCain and Romney are so far to the left Constitutional conservatives couldn’t possibly consider voting for them - they’re included among The Seven Dwarfs, along with Huckabee, Brownback, Thompson and Gingrich."

No, I read through the article and that is Fred Thompson.

It never ceazes to amaze me how much of the document of Jefferson, Adams, Madison, etc.. continues to be abused entirely for political partisanship in the United States.

Plus many of those founding fathers had very 'unusual' readings of the constitution itself. (Four Words: Alien and Sedition Acts.)

So the Constitution Party thinks Brownback is too left wing?

Probably because Brownback has a sane position on immigration.

The 'Doctor No' label reminds me of how people used to refer to Jesse Helms.  Good old Senator No.

Brownback supported the war and supported the McCain-Kennedy Amnesty Bill but I think he changed his mind after getting messages from his constituents. As mentioned, Brownback also said something along that lines that he would still support Rudy if he got the nomination despite his position on abortion.

I wouldn't have thought Gilmore would have been in the "Three Musketeers" category though.

I was wondering where Tommy Thompson was as well though.

I don't agree 100% with that comparison, but for the most part it is pretty accurate.
