If you do not know what I mean by this, ask me. But my definition is this: what presidents did something because of pressure on them from either congress or the press or even the american people.

I have two examples:

Lyndon Johnson on the Vietnam War and George H. W. Bush on breaking the read my lips pledge.

What do you think, which presidents did something not because they wanted too, but because they gave into pressure from those around them?
