Bill looks ok to me - However, I didn't know we were going to punish the Bill Clintons of the Atlasian world so harshly.  Tongue

Do we have any situation where people are actually made to testify under oath?  I don't think you even do that when saying stuff in a court case.

Presumably, the situation could arise in a voter fraud case, for example, if a conspiracy occurred and one of the conspirators falsely testified against someone under prosecution.  It's best to cover all possible situations, imho.

I propose lowering the sentencing:

Section 3: Punishment of Perjury

Sentencing of the crime shall be by the presiding Justice; He may use any combination of the following as punishment, depending upon the severity of the offense:

1. Up to 4 months revocation of registration within Atlasia.
2. Up to 8 months ban from holding any office under the Republic of Atlasia.

The Amendment to Section 3 has been passed as a friendly amendment.

As a heads-up to Senators - unless there is any more debate about this bill or another amendment is proposed by this time tomorrow afternoon, either Jas or I will start a vote immediately once the 72 hour period passes.
