I love it.  I bought the first one, which was pretty cool, but this one was way better.  Anyway, see, just one more reason to vote for me.  Wink

I'll think about it Smiley

What exactly can you do?  Do you just run the 2004 election or can you do other elections?

I got it, and it's really cool. Still learning all the stuff, though.

You can do a 2004 election with Republicans, Democrats, Green (Nader) and Libertarians (Oliver) or create your own candidates and runningmates, each with their own specific stances.

If I get really bored, I'll create a PD (all right on positions) and Migrendel (all left) and let the computer duke it out in an election, and see who wins.

That's a great idea, I never thought of that.

hah, I created myself as a candidate and lost to Bush, 271-267. He beat me in Florida with 42-42%, nader grabbing 15. Damn him.

I only have the demo, so I doubt i'd do well with the full version; I always have a policy speech every second day or so, and my heart points are usually under 20 before the demo ends :p

Oh, wait, you need the full version before you can edit the candidates and make your own.  Sorry.  The only way you can do it in the demo is not do anything for a day.

heh, as I said I would, I took 15 minutes and used President Forever to run an election with an all left wing candidate (migrendel) and all-right wing (PD), gave more charisma to PD, and better debating skills to migrendel, and Migrendel won the election, 312-226 EVs. I ran as Harry Browne and didn't do anything so I didn't disrupt the election.

Migrendel won the entire northeast, and key swing states such as Ohio, Florida, Nevada, Michigan, and even pulled off a win in Tennessee.

Tennessee isn't hard to win as a Democrat, ifact I have a hard time winning it as a Republican.  I think it's a glich in the game.  Tennessee is as hard to win as a Repub as Illinois.

Yeah, Tennessee and North/South Dakota really seem to easily swing to the Dems in the game. New Hampshire and Maine are equally tough to win as Democrats, at least from my perspective.

Supersoulty, has Nader/Browne won any states when you've included them? Nader won Montana with 42% of the vote one game I played.
