The opinion was delivered by Associate Justice TCash101 in which Chief Justice Texasgurl joined. Justice Opebo dissented.

I. In the June 2007 Federal Election, Atlasian citizen DeFarge voted, including a vote in the Northeast Senate race. Ernest, a citizen of the Northeast, sued, claiming DeFarge had failed to meet the activity requirements as required by The Consolidated Electoral System Reform Act, Section 14, which states

The Secretary of Forum Affairs, Gabu, does not dispute Ernest's claims.

II. The Court finds with the plaintiff; the vote in question should not count due to the voter's insuffient activity. We order the certification amended to reflect this. If the SoFA's new certification does not result in a tie in the Northeast, we nullify the June 29- July 1, 2007 Run-Off Certification as null and void.

How can you dissent?  It is a clear violation, what the hell is your grounds for an objection?

Me, and I express my complete and full support of the Associate Justice's performance in the Court.

He is entitled to dissent although a reason would be nice.

Bump for AG King

He is entitled to dissent although a reason would be nice.

That's all I'm asking for.  Tongue

When I sent him the opinion, I asked him to concur or provide a dissenting opinion, fwiw.

I still would like an answer from Opebo on why he dissented, I think it really shows he does not understand the law or the topic at hand, either one is disturbing

There is no reason to get over this, I don't think he should be allowed to continue as a justice if he does a stunt like this and explain no reasoning.  The court is not asking to be ruled on something abstract, it is clear-cut that Defarge's vote was invalid and I do not want a justice that has blatent disrespect for the laws of Atlasia and tries to unfairly legislate from the bench.

Yeah, and I'd prefer that we didn't have someone in the Senate who has committed identity fraud.  But we can't all get what we want.

And I'd prefer a PPT who played by the rules, so I guess sometimes we can get what we want Smiley

Figured you'd say that, funny though how I should get over a ridiculous decision made by a Supreme Court justice yet you bring up a second account I created (yet never registered in Atlasia), months and months ago before I was ever an elected official.  Also, my intention in setting up that account was not to register, it was simply an afterthought that never came to fruition and is not even relevant to Atlasia.
