I'd change my affiliation to Republican (hell, I'd be as much of a 'Republican' as some of the Republicans here Tongue) and choose Nym as my running mate.

From the Republicans, Bullmoose or Andrew Berger or Colin. From the Democrats, Boris or Sensei or Fabian or NDN. From the Libertarians, Everett or AKSaber (neither of which has a Libertarian avatar, unfortunately).

If I had to give you one choice, I would say Frodo... if given a "short list" however, it would look like this (in no real order):

Al
Frodo
Nym

... I know I am forgetting a couple people, but I'm kinda tired.

I think a populist Democrat like Frodo, or that DemocratOklahoma Guy, would help me with the whole unity thing.

If it was in the UK (and we had things like running mates!) it would have to be someone populist like Dave Hawk. Simply because I believe in..shall we say..rational policies that are difficult to sell 'emotionally.' Dave would be better at creating an overall package and stop me from alienating voters!

As for the US, and bearing in mind Dave and I wear red avatars, I would probably have to choose someone like Berger, Colin or Bullmoose. I wouldn't seek an out and out populist in this situation, just someone with similar positions who can help sell the message to Republicans (if it needs selling) and refer back their concerns.

Given a choice, Supersoulty.  However, I would also seriously put into consideration the following:

Patrick1
Colin Wixted
Erc
John Ford
Mark Del (if he were still around)

Is that actually biologically possible anyway? Though I suppose it depends on how define "yourself" or however you happen to define what f**king is.

Just a thought.

Obviously can't apply myself to this thread, being Irish where running mates are pre-selected by Party HQ for local constituencies, and the fact that I belong to no party.

Damnit, I don't use a thesaurus for my posts, lol Tongue That's just the joke that keeps on going and going Smiley

Gully Foyle, it's just an expression, of course, but now that you mention it, it might be possible for a true hermaphrodite (just a hanful of such cases occuring in the world).

I could vote for Afleitch as a Conservative. Economically, he is to my right but by no means psychotically so

I'm sure there are plenty of centrist to populist Republicans I could vote for. I should, of course, counsel that the further economically right they are, the less likely I'd support them even against the most bog-standard of Democrats

Social issues are a matter between me and my conscience, and would seldom inform my choice in a general election. Primaries, however, would be different

I'm fairly sure it's impossible for hermophrodites to fuck themselves. I think it would be the equivalent of a non-hermaphroditic male having anal sex with himself.
