I don't buy that Thompson is even a point ahead of Clinton right but if he is that is pretty sad for her.

I agree the election is in the Democratic favor, but those who think it will be a landslide or a 330 EV+ win for the Democrats are living a pipe dream. I'd be willing to bet whether we get another Republican or a Democratic President...that President is elected with 270-290 Electoral Votes.

330 EV+ is hardly a "landslide", as that's how much the winner get in *most* presidential elections.  The winner getting just 270-290 EV is very rare.  Just because it happened in the last two elections, I don't see why it's likely to happen a third time.
