In spirit of Senator BrandonH said, I would like to propose the following amendment to Section 1:

To replace the context of the Section with the following:

Applicability:
1.) This law shall remove all federal restrictions on LSD in addition to legalization in Washington DC and other federal territories which do not form a region.

I would request you add the following:
2.) The Regions of Atlasia shall be free to legalize and regulate LSD in any manner which they may choose.

Section 1 without Section 2 would legalize it in DC and territories but would still ban it in the regions. Also, I would recommend you change Washington to Nyman.
Accepted as friendly unless challenged

You don't have to accept as friendly a change to your own amendment from another party.

However, are you requesting that this amendment be motioned as friendly for the general Senate?
Yes

Ok, this amendment is being motioned as a friendly amendment.  Senators have twenty-four hours to object to it in this thread.

I would like to propose the following amendment to Section 1:

To replace the context of the Section with the following:

Applicability:
1.) This law shall remove all federal restrictions on LSD in addition to legalization in Nyman and other federal territories which do not form a region.
2.) The Regions of Atlasia shall be free to legalize and regulate LSD in any manner which they may choose.

I'm going to likely give the absent Senators a chance to vote here since they should be back before the vote has to close.

Well, we have reached a compromise on jurisdiction and taxation, no one has addressed the legal limit but I researched that and made it a reasonable to excessive amount, so I motion for cloture

You have Section 3 listed twice, once as "purchasing LSD" and once as "taxation". Is that correct, or an error?

Assuming it is a error and can be easily corrected, Aye on cloture. If not, nay and I will offer an amendment to remove the first Section 3, which I hope will be accepted as a friendly amendment.
