List your A) favorite all-Democratic pairs, B) favorite all-Republican pairs and C) favorite mixed pairs.

For myself, it's:

All-Dem: Illinois (Durbin and Obama)
All-GOP: Maine (Snowe and Collins)
Mixed: Oregon (Wyden and Smith)

Vermont is not a "mixed" state, and Connecticut should be counted as all-Dem for the purposes of this exercise, too.

Democratic: Arkansas (I dare say the two closest Democrats, overall, to me on the issues)

Republican: Maine (sadly, all other Republicans I have a favorable opinion of, get dragged down by their ideologically putrid colleagues)

Mixed: Indiana (just have a very favorable opinion of both Bayh and Lugar)
