The poll isn't about who they're supporting in the primary; it's about who they're supporting in the general election.

This poll seems strange to me. Obama is most definitely a popular and charismatic figure and while I can understand that he might have some crossover appeal, I find it strange that Edwards and [especially] Hillary elicit no support. With Obama’s numbers that high, I’d expect Hillary to have received at least 2 percent. This brings up an interesting point. Do Republicans despise Hillary so much that she’s completely unable to attract ant crossover support? Hell, she’s probably closer to the GOP’s views then  Obama is. So is it just  a personality issue that  causes few people to crossover and support her, whereas Obama does not have this problem. In any case it is strange.

But anyway, I’m prone to discount this poll  because no other Democrat received support, it appears. As it stands right know, it seems to be pushing an agenda.

Though very doubtful for being accurate.

Most voters don't know that Obama is more liberal than Clinton.  There was a Pew poll a couple of months ago, in which respondents were asked to place each of the candidates on an ideological spectrum, and a majority of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents all rated Clinton as more liberal than both Edwards and Obama.

Obviously whichever of Clinton, Obama, or Edwards gets the nomination will have a rating showing that they are the most liberal Senator (or former Senator for Edwards).

This is exactly why no one should care if Romney wins Iowa.
