Perot?!  Couldn't stand the guy.  I think I'd almost rather have a Democrat in office than him.

Me too, the only reason he ran was to hurt Bush....and well he succeeded.

Now now - he endorsed GWB in 2000.  He's a good guy whose ideas were somewhat responsibile for our 1994 victories!

The only reason I voted for Perot is because I didn't a young Governor from a small southern state could pull the US out of the ditch it was in from the Reagan-Bush years.  I probably would have voted Clinton if NY was a swing state, though.

Clinton didn't pull the country out of anything, he just rode the incipient Bush Sr. boom that had already started by election time 1992.  Which to give credit where its due the 1990's boom was actually just part of the Reagan boom we've had with minimal breaks since 1983.  Clinton was a non-entity/placeholder kind of president.  His only real act was to gut the military.

Perot's running mate was James Stockdale in 1992.

You voted for this man for VP and you don't even know who he is?

Note that he is only 13 or 14 years old and probably only barely remembers Clinton, and doesnt remember Reagan or Bush Sr. at all.

Was this the quote you were looking for, Kemp?

BTW, how could you not remember the Lewinski scandal, even if you were only 6 or 7 at the time? Wink

(Then again I remember the OJ trial, so there! ^_^)
