If neither Leach's campaign nor Loebsack's campaign saw any evidence of online gambling affecting their polling, finances, or volunteer efforts, then why would anyone believe gambling shaped this election. The only evidence if any campaign money from gamblers was a $2,300 check to Loebsack's campaign. While this was indeed a low-spending affair (Leach spent the least cah of any losing incumbent), it's doubtful 2k made the difference.
