I think it's going to Virginia in either 2008 or 2012.  Next likely is Alaska, followed by Wyoming, Kansas, and last, Utah.

Virginia is the only one that's likely in the next 25 years, Kansas and/or Alaska as an outside chance if there's a landslide.

Why do people keep putting Kansas down? I don't see how Kansas going dem is realistic outside of the dems winning the same number of states Reagan did in '84.

I'm just saying that a Sebelius nomination would close to clinch Kansas, I just got back from there and everyone I talked to liked her.

Virginia. It's a possibility that the Democrats could win it in 2008, however they have a more realistic chance of winning it in 2012. And Kansas probably wouldn't even give it's electoral votes to Sebelius if she was nominated. It would be close, but the GOP would still win it.

Iīm not really hating it, because if IN takes a KY-like swing towards the Democrats (which is not really possible) it comes right next after VA. We have not seen any General Election polls out of IN, but a D: 46% - R: 54% race could be possible in the next presidential elections, with the right candidate.

Actually you don't really need a competent dem candidate. You just need the right to split with the Tancredo-ites forming their own group.
