The GOP is completely screwed in both, but would say more so in NH

Disagreed, although that fight has been fought enough.

Given that the Democrats actually won NH in 2004... this is kind of obvious.

So I'm guessing you're still predicting Sununu will win.

Answer this: Why should anyone take your predictions seriously after your terrible ones last year? You remind me of Benny Hinn.

On what? Do you also think Sununu will win?

And I'm not talking about just wrong predictions, I'm talking about blowing multiple ones by 20 points, and insisting that a state would never vote for a candidate because that candidate is the same political orientation the state is.

But even you must agree the Benny Hinn analogy in my new edited post fits?

What does that have to do with what I said?

No, I don't think Sununu will win. Very, very sad, of course.

You said I'd have egg on my face, implying I'd blow some prediction by as badly as Walter did with his in PA and MN Senate and OH and MA Governor last year. So which one are you expecting that on?

I said I can't wait until a year comes along when that would happen. I never said when I think it would happen and I still won't. Who knows when it will happen? I just know you have the capability to do so and you'll never hear the end of it if it happens while we are still on this forum.

New Hampshire for certain if Shaheen gets it in. I also favor Udall to be elected in Colorado too

Although incumbency is a clear advantage in the Senate, my gut at this early date says NH.  I also suspect Schaefer is a stronger candidate than most people think.

I don't think Schaffer is a that tough of a candidate, Udall is clearly the stronger candidate, the better positioned candidate and likely the better financed one as well.  Both races strongly favor the Dems, but I don't see Udall putting up the 20+ point margins which Sununu is currently trailing Shaheen by.

New Hampshire, thus far.

I still have Colorado as pretty close to a toss-up, with Democrats only about 11:10 to win.  New Hampshire is around 6:5 Dem now; 4:3 if Shaheen gets in.

Shaheen leads by over 20 points. I'd give her much stronger than 4:3 odds.

This is the Congressional thread after all Alcon.  One can usually assume that the topic at hand has something to do with Congress.  Wink
