Stewart did a good job highlighting how the media has a bit of a bias against Obama.

In the '04 campaign, everyone who went on that show lost. John Kerry never went on the daily show until the primary had ended, many of his opponents (Dean and Edwards most notably) did. Then when he was the nominee, Kerry went on the show. Pres. Bush didn't. Who won?

Meanwhile, every candidate that appeared on the Colbert Report won re-election, and every candidate who was too much of a coward to appear and had their challenger highlighted lost.

Wrong show Barry.

Err, that's not really true...there was that lady from New Jersey challenging an incumbent with nearly the same name.  She got killed, and she was on Colbert's show.  And that's just the first that comes to mind.

I'm sure the drunken orgy-loving young people had the time of their lives seeing the Barack Obama in person.

So does that mean that Colbert can just have every single Democrat on his show and that will ensure them all victory?

What if someone goes on both the Daily Show and the Colbert Report?  Does it cancel each other out?

Stewart and his show are funny, but he doesn't really know anything about the mechanics of politics. I would say that Obama has enjoyed marvelously positive press until recently-- and like most such people, the minute anyone says anything negative about him, he starts to pout.

I would say he's pretty pouty right now.
