Rumours of Fidel's death?

If you check several blogs and Miami area media sources, apparently there have been rumours in the Cuban community that the end has finally come for Fidel. Of course these are only rumours, and the Cuban government has denied anything happening. Anyway, it will be interesting to see whatever happens.

i know it probably isn't true. But I have many friends whose parents had to come to this country on a makeshift raft to leave Cuba, and would like nothing more than for Fidel to die slowly and painfully. I'm looking forward to partying when it happens.

We've had that chance with other places too, during Roosevelt's term, we were offered the Dominican Republic but Congress turned it down.  The same goes for Haiti.

Doubt it, because some of the people I'm talking about are accountants and lawyers and architects and such. They're not going anywhere.

When Castro dies, the dry foot policy needs to stop. We need to treat Cubans like we treat Mexicans and Haitians.

After the Castro regime falls and everything I can see Cuba being a very prosperous nation, As Cuba has resources and the welfare infastructure that is better then most Third World countries to attract serious investment from the US and elsewhere.
