Um... If you haven't been paying attention - gporter's not on the list - he never registered, and I unsuccessfully tried to do it for him.

One more signature needed to prevent gporter from appearing on the ballot.

Ok, gporter will not appear on the ballot, even if he wants to be. You still have 25 hours to get anyone else off. (that's what she said)

Regardless of political ideology, I am steadfastly opposed to removing anyone from the ballot for the reasons of "not being progressive enough."  If they're not progressive enough, then simply don't support them at the ballot box.

That's my thinking as well, but some people don't seem to agree, and I've vowed to avoid any problems, so I think this is a good compromise.

We may as well include John McCain and Fred Thompson on the 2008 Democratic primary ballot...

I sorta agree with you two on the issue of SPC. I petitioned to exclude GPorter because his joke campaign has no place in a serious primary.

If John McCain and Fred Thompson wanted to run as Democrats in 2008, who are you to say they can't?  I mean, they won't win, so what's the problem?

I did indeed, but it seems that Earl is sorta late to the memo. I request my removal from the ballot, as I am a VP candidate with Sensei.

I count this as a great victory for the Sensei/ Speed ticket, and I thank those who showed up to the poll in my support. I, along with Speed, hope this success carries over nationwide.

Indeed this is a great day for our campaign. And now, Im off to the next primary, because we can't afford to live in the moment, as this is only the beginning....of that I am sure.

45 minutes after the opening of the polls in the Northeast, former Governor of the Mideast Jack Polnut leads 1 vote to nil. Whilst in the Pacific, Governor Jesus currently leads 2 votes to nil. This should be an interesting Super weekend.
