Clause 5 of Article V, Section 2 of the Constitution of the Republic of Atlasia is hereby repealed.

Since people can't delete themselves anymore, I see no reason to have an amendment concerning such behavior.

I hope this amendment will be put on the fast track.

"If a person deletes their user account then their registration will no longer be valid."

I agree that it is superfluous.

It always was superfluous, even when you could delete your user account. It doesn't hurt either, though. And of course it wouldn't actually be off the books, since we're following US practice. This just makes the constitutional text even longer and more complex. I obviously oppose this amendment.
