I'm amazed Kucinich didn't win in a landslide.  Must be his pro-life positions.

Kucinch isn't pro-life any more. If Kossacks only voted on the positions on the issues, of course Kucinch would landslide. However, there are other factors, and those factors hurt him.

I wonder why a group of ardent communists would choose to call themselves "Kossacks".  Am I the only one who sees the irony there?

They sure earn a lot of money for being "communists".

This post would make sense if DailyKos was a site for ardent communists. However it's not.

They are hardcore leftists who use draconian standards of what is acceptable debate to banish all those who they disagree with in order to run their own little totalitarian state on the internet.  Sounds pretty communist to me.

BTW... money is no measure of whether or not someone is "intellectually" a communist, I think we can all agree on that.

Actually, the fact that he opposes capital punishment and supports universal health care is a big plus.

You seem to be confusing DKos with DU.

Hey, maybe they're really up on their history and are thinking of the 18th century Kossacks (think the Pugachev rebellion), who were much more of a revolutionary type than their descendants.

But he didn't stand up to Fox News when they tried to have a Democratic Debate, so they hate him.  They're a fickle bunch operating on thin, group-think based logic.

How do you run a "totalitarian state on the internet"? Sounds interesting.
