The old one is  lost in time, over 10 pages back (couldn't find it). So here is the new one....

Playing 2004/ George W. Bush

Kerry/Edwards: 277 EVs (48%)
Bush/Cheney: 261 EVs (47%)
Nader/Camejo: 0 EVs (3%)

I was leading in 48 states and made 56% in the polls up until the last week of the election, then Kerry released an amazing 25 point scandal that caused me to drop nearly 10% in the polls and tip the election to him 1 day before.

If 488 votes in Missouri would have gone for Bush instead of Kerry, Bush would have won.

Can you tell I was slightly bored? Wink

I was the 'libertarian' (who was centrist on every single issue) with extremely-hyper-inflated attributes Smiley

How you managed to get Utah?
I've seen that Oklahoma, Kansas and Virginia are relatively easy to get and even Texas, as I've got them in the past. But never Utah.
Was just advertising? - You lost CT!

Utah was just advertising... somehow... isn't that crazy?

Yeah, I lost Connecticut and Maryland... but went crazy over them for some reason... but oh well, I'd say Utah is more of a shock than Connecticut or Maryland Wink

I have a question, it seems to me that in most campaigns, Kansas towards the end of the 6th week becomes a tossup, yet Nebraska, South and North Dakota and Oklahoma don't.

I believe most states are portrayed accurately in this game, but why does Kansas suddenly trend Dem one week before election night for no apparent reason?

IIUC, there is a HUGE governor's bonus in this game and Kansas has a Democratic governor (Sibelius, right?)

Still weird though.

Why would you like to have Dynamism on if it says there that it makes events less realistic? Explain me.

Clark/Lieberman v Bush/Cheney

I was headed for a big victory and then I lost both Texas and New York by slim margins... Sad

I got over 60% in CA, WA, DE, MD, MA, PA, RI, WI, NV and HI. And DC, of course.

Powell/Rice v Kerry/Edwards

Powell: 386 EVs, 53% of PV

Kerry: 152 EVs, 47% of PV

I got as much as 27% in DC and over 70% in WY, UT and ID. CA was a 59-41 landslide for Powell. Cheesy

I'm also proud of getting over 60% in AZ as well as 45% in RI and 46% in MA...most disappointing was losing NH 48-51 and IL 47-52. Sad

Has anybody else ever gotten the result 50.0%-50.0% in a state and lose? That happened to me once in Virginia playing Reagan 1980 with Anderson and Clark off.

Too bad there isn't a recount feature. Wink

In the newer update, they have the actual amount of votes. I've lost Louisiana once by 12 votes, but I won the election anyway-because I won New Hampshire by 55 Cheesy

I made a scenario (primarily just the 2004 Scenario) of the June Presidential Election at the forum:

Gustaf/Supersoulty: 46% (57,769,825); 269 Electoral Votes

Nym90/Al: 44% (55,539,971); 269 Electoral Votes

Reaganfan/PBrunsel: 8% (11,180,339); 0 Electoral Votes

States Rights/NixonNow: 1% (1,032,122) o Electoral votes

The presence of Reaganfan took votes away, surprisingly, from President Nym90. This lead to a 269-269 tie. The Congress, dominated by Democrats, elected President Nym90.

Didn't you and reaganfan drop out, same with states and assad?

Surely it should have been:

Nym90/Al

I wanted to run Reaganfan's Campaign the way I wanted to. I added StatesRights, who is much like a libertarian, to create a 4-Party race. StevenNick didn't do much campagining, but neither did StatesRights. But compared to the Reaganfan-PBrunsel Campaign, no one did much campagning.

States, a Libertarian? You're kidding me, I'd say States was pretty conservative on both counts.

Did you submit it? I made one, but it isn't the best. Most issues are ones from 2004.
