Only capital punishment.

Some of the others may be unwise, but not immoral.

To avoid opebo's scorn, I 'subjectively dislike' both abortion and capital punishment.

While I find some of them such as abortion distasteful, I'll say none of the above.

That would be Oklahoma for Edwards, judging from his post.

None are immoral under EVERY LAST circumstance.

The following are immoral under some or most circumstances:
Abortion (except for valid medical reasons)
some sorts of Euthanasia (especially when the patient's consent is not obtained, or for eugenics purposes)
some reasons to cross US-Mexico border w/o a Visa (like smuggling terrorists or certain drugs)

Some, like Capital Punishment, are moral under some circumstances but not others (executing petty thieves, jaywalkers, bubble-gum-under-desk people, and the innocent would be very much immoral; executing murderers would, in my opinion at least, be perfectly moral).

The poll is referring to assisted suicide or consensual euthanasia

Capital punishment, smoking, and drinking. Not that the latter two should be banned, of course; they don't harm anyone but yourself.

Capital Punishment - Always

Abortion - Under certain circumstances, especially if used as a mere subistute for the Morning After Pill.

All the others are not immoral, but some are just retarded. Like Smoking and Binge Drinking.

Quite a lot of them (probably a narrow majority). Of course, just because I think that something is immoral doesn't mean that I also think that it should be illegal.

Of those... probably abortion and capital punishment.

However, the first one shouldn't be illegal, while the latter should.

There are a few things here I personally would view as immoral, but that doesn't necessarily mean I would legislate against them (eg. abortion). Not sure whether I'm stating the obvious here, but it's probably worth making that distinction.

Other than that, it's a question of circumstance and context, and it would be wrong to make sweeping statements. For instance, I wouldn't necessarily say that profanity is immoral per se, but if someone suddenly starts shouting four-letter words at the top of his voice during, say, a funeral or in the middle of a kindergarten playground, then I definitely would view that as immoral.

Equally, with abortion, it depends on the circumstances. In fact, I would argue that legislation against abortion altogether is immoral because it would condemn thousands of women (who are determined to have an abortion come what may) to illegal and thus unsupervised and thus highly dangerous treatment. The coathanger treatment I think they call it.

Capital Punishment is really the only one I can see on this list that fits 'immoral'. I would put binge drinking on the borderline, but thats about it. The rest are all just drummed up as power-keepers by political groups.

I am seriously glad nobody has made the faux pas of voting interracial sex.
