Well, first, you need to achieve at least 250 posts as required by the constitution.

Second, you will need to declare your candidacy in the official candidate declaration thread.

No rush, though.  The next Presidential election won't be until mid-to-late June 2008.  In the meantime, you are free to participate in the April 2008 midterm elections.
