Profanity in the media - Libertarian
Suburban development - Generally libertarian, although I can see some scenarios like water shortages where things could be restricted out of survival reasons.

Suburban development - Don't know what this is; if zoning, I actually tend to like simple zoning codes, as long as they're administered at the local level.  Preserves a neighborhood's character and an individual's investment in their property.  But, I'd prefer zoning be handled democratically and not as authoritarian practice, so L.

That's true, it would be one thing to force people to not paint their houses or property certain colors and another to just make that a contractual agreement for entering the neighborhood or something.

Why on Earth is sex worse than violence?

Pretty common sentiment unfortunately, just look at our ratings/censorship system in this country. Americans seem to take that Zardoz quote about the gun being good and the penis being evil to heart.

guns: at minimum rifles should not be regulated
gambling: in what sense? a poker game at home is much different from a casino.
alcohol restrictions: alcohol consumption should be legal at any age, sale depends on the age of the majority.
tobacco: vile but obviously a ban would never work.
smoking in public: somewhat indifferent, i just don't want to be exposed to it
tobacco advertising: well, alcohol is allowed on tv how is this much different? i can't say i really feel strongly either way but a little consistency would be nice.
strip clubs: disgusting but should be subject to mere regulation (kept out of public view) i suppose
fashion industry: completely degenerate, would not be tolerated in a sane society
pornography: see strip clubs
prostitution: see strip clubs
fast food: a ban would be problematic on multiple levels (and not really in the sense of 'personal choice') i'm not really sure what the solution to this is. cutting off farm subsidies, development/ad restrictions, better education and charging the obese a bit more could help a bit. ultimately though it is symptomatic of a sick society, a healthier and prouder people would not gravitate towards such filth.
soda sales in schools: ban
school uniforms: mandate nationally
marketing to minors: ban
violence in media: safe harbor/watershed/parental controls
sex in the media: see above
profanity in the media: see above but i might add this offends me perhaps more so than anything else on the list. people sound like sewers now.
suburban development: heavily discourage, though admittedly much of it is subsidized by the state
