im not going to get too excited.  for two reasons...

1.  i agree with mr. moderate in that i dont think tsongas would be a bad congresswoman if she votes like her late husband.

2.  it is surveyusa.  i doubt whathisname...the fellow trying to get votes on his brother's name, is that close.

if i were a resident of this district, id probably vote for whathisname.  if only because i think massachusetts needs a republican congressman.

When does the GOP ever have a positive approval rating in Massachusetts?

If Ogonowski's showing can tack more closely to Romney's 2002 showing, or even "somewhat outpace" K. Murph's 2006 showing, he's in pretty good shape.  I mean, Lowell is pretty damn Democratic, but there are towns in this district that went around 3:1 for Mitt.

im going to guess that lowell and lawrence wont have good voter turnout for a special election.

i was under the impression that jehlen is well liked by the somerville liberals.

but i really only know two things about her...

1.  ive never voted for her.
2.  she knocked on my door last fall campaigning for deval patrick (who i also didnt vote for)
