This is the thread dedicated to how candidates gain most of their funds and who is leading in cash raised (with maps). Inspired by BRTD

First of all I'll start with something uncontroverial:  Current Cash raised by party shown as a percentage of all cash currently raised in each state (Using the most up to date data, which comes from the end of July):



Obviously the home state factor comes into alot of this (Which explains New Mexico's Dem:97% Rep:3%); but there are some results which don't make apparent sense - Alabama?

If somehow this was repeated on election night (HA!) the EV would read DEM: 363, REP: 175

I would guess the Black population of the Deep South may be donating heavily and that social conservatives there are not too thrilled with most of their choices. But even more interesdsting would be a comparison with earlier years, IMHO.
