Based on exit polls, CNN has called the Tennesssee Primary for Kerry. He's two for two in the South today. I think Clark will drop out, I don't know about Edwards.

Edwards doesn't have much left, but he will be in better condition when Clark drops out. He just needs to make sure he doesn't lose his chance at VP by losing too bad.

Wesley Clark will drop out for sure. His campaign staff has already said they're done because they haven't been paid in weeks.
Howard Dean SHOULD drop out, but he won't. At this point, Dean is kind of like the Bruce Willis character in the movie "Sixth Sense." He's DEAD, but he doesn't realize it...LOL

Dean deserves a longer send off, for what he has done to fix up our party/

Zachman,
I actually agree with you. Dean gave Kerry and the DNC the playbook to use against Bush. If he wasn't a borderline "straight jacket" case, he would have made a strong candidate.

Dean deserved to have done better than 39-26 in NH. If it wasn't for the media I'd say it would have been closer to 33-33 tie.

Kerry 41%, Edwards 27%, Clark 23% in TN.
Another clear-cut victory for Kerry. A month ago, who would have thought that Kerry would run away with the nomination like this? Democrats were fearing a long, drawn-out battle between Dean, Clark, Edwards; in fact, Kerry didn't even seem to enter the equation.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's amazing how quickly things can change in politics.
