The good times started the morning after, when he was supposed to announce for president.

Remember when George Allen was a rising star? The good times started the morning after his loss to Jim Webb.

Allen was taken out of contention for President well before he actually lost the race.

Hahahahaha, George Allen, what a big loser he is!!!

He's right up there with Phil Gramm as one of my most hated politicians.

The first Governer of Georgia to lose re-election in a General Election since 1837. Not sure how many lost in primaries though.

He was the top GOP candidate until he uttered the name an Asian monkey genus.

Roy Barnes? Cant say Ive heard of him.

He was Governor of Georgia until 2002, when he lost reelection over because he removed the Confederate battle flag from the Georgia flag.

Reliable Democrats turned against him.  My ideology has nothing to do with that fact.

Barnes was considered a shoo-in, so they did not poll the race very often.  Same with Cleland until the eleventh hour.  Cleland lost by slightly more than Barnes, but not in the same places.
