I will be opposing any government handouts on either matter.  Let private companies handle this and develop it like they're already doing quite well.

The point of having a government is to enforce the rule of law; to protect the people's right to life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness. No private entity could do such a thing. Alternatively, a private entity could make charitable donations to worthy causes.

Nay. We can and should fund embryonic stem cell resarch and adult stem cell research. I think the funding provided for both is too low, but I can't vote on this amendment.
