Actually Romney leads Obama by six.

I must say that even I am shocked.  I knew we would be competitive, but I didn't realize that we would be THAT close.  I didn't think any Democrat could be ahead let alone up by 21 points.  This tells me that if Clinton and Romney are the nominees, the Republicans just lost 7 electoral votes, same thing if Edwards and Anybody are the nominees. -- WOW!!!

OKLAHOMA -- WHERE THE [DEMS] COME SWEEPIN DOWN THE PLAIN.

Indeed. This confirms it. Oklahoma is going Democrat. We have this reliable poll coupled with an unbiased moderator that knows more about Oklahoma than anyone else.

I've been meaning to ask for a while.

Do you think Obama's race is the only reason you can imagine a person NOT voting for him?

He's also an inexperienced empty-suit.

To some people.

No although when Edwards, a guy with pretty similar if not farther left positions is polling this much better in OK what do you think the cause is?

This is a somewhat shocking result: I never thought Clinton would do so well against the Republicans considering the state went 2/3 for Bush and because of this Tulsa OK poll, which showed Clinton viewed favorably by just 32% of Oklahomans and unfavorably by 65% or so. But I suppose on election day 2008 she would still lose by plenty points against all 3 Republicans.

This poll could also be junk... who knows... SUSA has a mixed record to say the least.

Yes that is a shame. Russ Feingold is ten times better than anybody running on the Democratic side right now.

For the record, when I said "for some people", I literally meant in the eyes of other people, not my own.

Call Edwards dead all you want, his numbers across the board in General Election match-ups are incredible.

That doesn't change the fact that he is pretty much dead in the primary (unfortunately).
