CO:  Udall raises $1.1 million in Q3, $3.1 million cash on hand.

(Westminster-CO) – Today, Udall for Colorado, Congressman Mark Udall’s (D-Eldorado Springs) U.S. Senate Campaign, announced its 3rd quarter 2007 fundraising totals.

"The Udall for Colorado Campaign is pleased to announce that Mark for the second quarter in a row will report over $1.1 million in receipts," said Udall Campaign Manager Mike Melanson.  "Considering the historic difficulties of fundraising in the 3rd quarter of an off-year, this is a monumental achievement that reflects the growing momentum and strength of Mark’s campaign for the United States Senate."

"These numbers clearly show the support Coloradans have for Mark’s vision of finding a responsible path to end the war in Iraq and safely bring our troops home, to make Colorado a renewable energy leader, and to make health care affordable and available to all," said Melanson.

"The campaign will report over $3.1 million cash on hand," said Melanson.

Financial reports are due October 15th and exact numbers will be available at that time.

According to MyDD:

Andrew Rice (D-OK) raised $310k. That's pretty impressive for a first-term State Senator in a red state.

Jeff Merkley (D-OR) raised $294k, more than twice than Steve Novick (D-OR), who rasied $125k.

KENTUCKY SENATE -

Mitch McConnell raised $1.55 million in Q3, bringing his cash on hand to $6.8 million.

MINNESOTA SENATE -

Remember how Al Franken outraised incumbent Republican Norm Coleman in Q2? Well, it happened again in Q3 as Franken took about $1.9 million compared with Coleman's $1.7 million. And remember that, of Coleman's take, about $1 million of it came from the George W. Bush fundraiser alone. Not looking good for Coleman.
